Enrolment Dates for New Students

Enrolment dates, preparing for enrolment and academic advice

To help you prepare for enrolment, Academic Advising is provided by Faculties and Departments. Academic Advisers will assist you in planning your program and choosing your units (subjects).

Undergraduate students (Domestic and International)

Register for your on-campus enrolment at Step 2 on the undergraduate enrolment steps. New undergraduate enrolments will be on campus between 22 - 26 July 2013.

Domestic Macquarie City Campus students will have their compulsory enrolment and orientation day between 1 - 5 July 2013 at Macquarie City Campus.

Postgraduate students (Domestic and International)

Check whether or not you have compulsory academic advising before enrolling. This can be done at Step 2 on the postgraduate enrolment steps. If you do not have compulsory academic advising you may enrol into your units and classes via eStudent at the following times:

• All domestic students except those from the Faculty of Business and Economics: from 15 July 2013.


• All students entering programs within the Faculty of Business and Economics: from 19 July 2013 (after compulsory Orientation)


• All International students (except those listed below): from 19 July 2013 (after compulsory international student briefings).


• All International Translating and Interpreting students: following compulsory academic advising - TBA.

 

SESSION 2 DATES

(Dates are applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate students)

Close of Ontime enrolment – 26 July 2013.
NB: A Late Enrolment Fee of $200 is applicable for admission to your course after this date.

Last date to add Day and Evening units to your program – 9 August 2013.
NB: A late Enrolment Fee of $200 is applicable for unit enrolment after this date.

Last date to add External units to your program – 2 August 2013.
NB: A Late Enrolment Fee of $200 is applicable for unit enrolment after this date.

Census Date for Session 2 – 31 August – this is the last date to withdraw from a unit without financial  or academic penalty.

Last date to withdraw from a unit without academic penalty – 28 September.
NB: Financial penalty still applies.
