Login to eStudent

On the eStudent web-site enter your Macquarie Student ID. To find your password select "Click here for login assistance". After you login you will be required to change your password. If you have accessed eStudent previously, enter your Student ID and current password.
You will be able to enrol via eStudent after you have attended your on-campus session.
If you experience login difficulties, email IT Help at ithelp@mq.edu.au or go to their web-site.

Plan your Program
- You should try to plan your program before you attend the on-campus pre-enrolment sessions:

Pay any Current Debts
If you have previously enrolled at Macquarie and have an outstanding debt you
must complete payment before you will be able to enrol via eStudent.

Pay your Fees

Check /pay your fees using your online 'Statement of Outstanding Charges' in eStudent.
Tax Invoices will not be mailed to students.
Login to
eStudent.
Select Check My Finances / Outstanding Debt / View my current debts / View my Statement of Outstanding Charges (outstanding amounts will display in red).
Due Date for Second Half-Year fees is Friday 1 August 2008.
A late payment fee of $200 will apply for late payment of fees.
Payment methods are listed on your Statement of Outstanding Charges and include
internet using your credit card, BPAY, telephone, mail and in person at Revenue Services,
Macquarie University.

Check enrolment
Check your enrolment carefully to ensure that you are:
- enrolled in the correct units, for the correct study period, in the correct course (if undertaking more than one program);
- registered in all the required classes.
In eStudent, select My Enrolment / Check Unit enrolment and Print Timetable.
How do I change my enrolment?
You can add units via eStudent until 8 August for external units and 15 August for internal units. You are also required to check that your enrolment complies with your visa regulations.
Expected Completion notification

You are required to notify the University of when you expect to complete your program. For example, if you expect to be enrolled in your program for three years then you will complete at the end of Second Half-year 2011.
Campus Card (internal students only)

You will need to present your Enrolment and Registration Advice (ERA) to confirm your enrolment in 2008.
You can collect your 2008 Campus Card from Student Central in Building C5C Room 244 after you have enrolled. Bring photo ID after you have attended the on-campus pre-enrolment sessions.
Service hours from 28 July - 3 August are: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8am - 6pm, Tuesday/Thursday 8am - 8pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm, Sunday 1pm - 5pm. From 4 August usual semester service hours resume.
Login to myMQ, the Student Portal and Student Email
- myMQ is the Student Portal. It provides the gateway to information for current students. To retrieve your initial password, your email address and to login, you will need to select First Time Log In. The portal has the link to the login page. On your first login you will change to a password of your choice. myMQ has been designed to bring all student resources to one location. The Portal contains links to:
- Student Email and Calendar
- Online Teaching Facility
- Library catalogue and reserve systems
- eStudent
- Unit home pages
- and many other student and university resources

Academic Orientation, prepares you for starting study at Macquarie University. You meet other new students in your degree, meet an experienced student mentor to answer all your questions and are made familiar with all aspects of the campus, our facilities and were to find people and places so you will start your university life well prepared.
