Changing Personal Information
Change of Address
Currently enrolled students can change their address on eStudent. Once you have logged in, click on 'My Details' and then click on 'Address Details'.
Past students can notify the university of a change to their contact details through the Alumni office.
It is the student's responsibility to ensure that their address is current and correct. All official university correspondence will be sent to the address nominated, and the university will not accept responsibility for lost or undelivered mail if address details are incorrect.
Change of Name
The student must submit certified photocopies of official documentation with the desired name on it to Student Connect, either in person or by post. Documents accepted include passports and Birth, Marriage or Change of Name Certificates from the Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages. Documents cannot be faxed or emailed to Student Connect.
A Change of Personal Details form must then be completed at Student Connect, and the change will be effected within 48 hours of receipt.
If the student is unable to lodge the form in person to Student Connect, the Change of Personal Details form, accompanied by certified documents, can be posted to: Student Connect, L1 Lincoln Building, Macquarie University, NSW, 2109. Faxed requests will not be accepted.
