Changing Personal Information

Change of Address

Currently enrolled students can change their address on e-Student. Once you have logged in, click on 'My Details' and then click on 'Address Details'.

Past students can notify the Student Enquiry Service of an address change in writing. Please include your full name, student number or date of birth, proof of new address and signature. This can be posted to: Student Enquiry Service, Lincoln Building level 1, Macquarie University NSW 2109. Past students may also change their contact details through the Alumni office.

It is the student's responsibility to ensure that their address is current and correct. All official university correspondence will be sent to the address nominated, and the university will not accept responsibility for lost or undelivered mail if address details are incorrect.

Change of Name

The student must submit certified photocopies of official documentation with the desired name on it to the Student Enquiry Service, either in person or by post. Documents accepted include passports and birth, marriage or Change of Name certificates from the Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages. Documents cannot be faxed or emailed to the Student Enquiry Service.

A Change of Personal Information form must then be completed at the SES and the change will be effected within 48 hours of receipt.

If the student is unable to lodge the form in person to the Student Enquiry Service, a letter requesting the name change accompanied by certified documents can be posted to the Student Enquiry Service. Faxed requests will not be accepted. Please post to the address listed above.
