How do I apply for an advising transcript? (unofficial transcript)
| Students can request one from the Student Enquiry Service at any time. Photo identification must be shown at the time of the request. Advising transcripts can only be given to the student. Due to the privacy act, friends, relatives or any other third parties cannot request a copy on behalf of the student. Advising transcripts can also be viewed on e-Student. They cannot be printed. The current semesters final examination results can be printed from the e-Student portal. |
What authorisation do I need to act on someone elses behalf?
To act on someone elses behalf, the proxy must have written authorisation and a copy of the student's photo identification. The letter must include:
Student ID number Name of proxy What actions the proxy is authorised to undertake Signature of student giving the authorisation Macquarie University cannot release information about a student to a third party without the students' permission. |
When is a Justice of the Peace available?

Students must bring the original documents to be sighted AND the photocopies for the JP to sign. No photocopying will be done at the Student Enquiry Service. People wishing to use the JP service must be:
A current Macquarie staff member (with staff card) A recently graduated Macquarie student (within the last 6 months) Macquarie Shopping Centre A Justice of the Peace will be available at the Customer Service Centre, Level 3 during the following hours: Wednesdays 9.30am - 3.00pm Saturdays 9.30am - 2.30pm Attorney General's Department The NSW Attorney General's Department has a register of JPs. This can be used to locate a JP by postcode or to find a particular JP. Go to the Attorney General's Department. |
How do I apply for a parking permit?

Parking Permit forms and the permits themselves are available from the Cashier, Level 1 Lincoln Building.
The Cashier's hours are: 9.00-5.00pm Monday to Friday
For rules and guidelines relating to parking on campus, please visit the Office of Facilities Management website. The Centre for Open Education, located X5B level 1, can also provide parking permits, but only with non-cash payments (eg EFTPOS, Credit card). |
Buying a 2008 Undergraduate or Postgraduate Handbook
| The Cashier's Office (Lincoln building, level 1, 9am-5pm weekdays) sells both Undergraduate and Postgraduate handbooks. The 2007 UG handbook is $10 and the 2007 PG handbook is $8.
